FAIB is a first aid training industry regulator based in Stockport.

The organisation was established in 2012 to set and maintain quality assurance standards across first aid training providers, following the Lofsted review of Health and Safety Executive guidance. FAIB accredits and registers training organisations and their individual trainers and assessors.

The body works to keep first aid training costs competitive for employers and training providers whilst maintaining industry standards. FAIB charges member training organisations an annual fee to operate under its accreditation, plus a per-trainer registration fee. The organisation is run as an industry body, overseen by director Ian Kershaw.
